We wish all of our Colour Belt Grading candidates all the best at our grading this Thursdayevening.

Candidates for our Mini Kids Grading next week have until Friday to get their forms back to the office. Remember if you've been approved to grade already you still need to keep practicing.

Class Changes/Cancellations
This week
- Thursday 5.30pm class is 45 mins long (to give us some transition time for the grading)
- Thursday 6.30pm class is cancelled due to the grading. Please feel free to come on Monday orTuesday at 6.30pm this week instead.

Next week
- Tuesday 6.30pm class is cancelled. Please feel free to come on Monday or Thursday at6.30pm instead
- Thursday 3.30pm and 4.30pm classes are cancelled due to the Mini Kids Grading. Please feel free to come to a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 3.30pm or 4.30pm class instead.

End of Year Training & Picnic
Our final event for the year will be on Saturday 12 December at the Waiatarua Reserve on Abbotts Way (just around the corner from our Ellerslie dojang). We invite all of our members and their families to come! Members please come in your uniforms as we will have a short training of all of our members altogether before the picnic. 

The reserve has a playground, skate park, half basketball court, wetlands and lots of walks. Please bring your own picnic and RSVP if you can make it. Everyone who RSVP's beforeFriday 4 December will be in the draw for spot prizes.

Dear Members,
We had a fantastic time yesterday at the final Under 18s Tournament for 2015! Once again the Warrior team - parents, kids, coaches and supporters included - showed up ready to help and encourage each other and with great spirit. 

We are very proud of all of the Warrior competitors who did themselves and their club proud.

Our end of year club event will be on Saturday 12 December at 2pm. Please diary the date for now and we will have more details for you shorlty.

Advanced Kicking Seminar
Our very own Mr Trevor Topfer is running a kicking seminar that will help you take your kicks to the next level on Saturday 28 November, 10.30am-10pm. The seminar is for anyone aged 12+ and at least yellow belt. We recommend anyone meeting the eligibility criteria who attends a 5.30pm or 6.30pm registers right away!

Last Week for Colour Belt Grading Forms
Yes that's right - if you are eligible and approved to grade in the Colour Belt Grading next week you must get your forms in and grading fees paid by Friday this week. You can also get your forms in by scanning them to the office. Mini Kids Grading applicants still have an extra week to go for their forms.

Dear Members,

We are in the pre-grading period at the moment for both of our upcoming gradings, so make sure you are coming to class regularly or our instructors won't be able to assess whether you're ready to grade!

Master McPhail is flying back from Finland over the next couple of days ... check out his post in the Warrior TKD Club members/parents group here to find out what he's been up to.

Last Days to Enter Under 18s Tournament
TOMORROW is the cut off for entries into the Under 18s Tournament, which is this Sunday at Mt Roskill Grammar School. So far we have 11 Warrior members competing over the yellow belts and above and Mini Kids divisions, two volunteer coaches - Miss Roisin Giles and Miss Kavita Jaduram - and five volunteer officials from Warrior - Mrs Sonya Robinson, Mrs Debbie Hart, Mr Trevor Topfer, Miss Kara Timmer and Miss Mischke Hendricks. We are really lucky and thankful to have lots of people helping out!

There will be a Warrior Taekwon-Do meeting before the tournament starts at 8.45am, and all entrants from Warrior will receive a special email briefing you for the tournament.

Get your entry in here - and contact the office ASAP if you need your ITKD number to complete the registration.

Dear Members,

If there is a mini kid in your household hoping to grade this time round, please make sure they do their homework in their Mini Kids Handbook and bring it to class for their instructors to sign off. 

For all grading hopefuls, whichever syllabus you are on, remember your instructors can't pre-grade you if you aren't here. Make sure you let your instructor know in advance if you anticipate needing to miss a class as a courtesy.

Sparring Gear Orders
Warrior TKD students are now able to order Fuji Mae sparring gear through Warrior Taekwon-Do! We have vinyl and leather options for hands and feet and every size of every product is available to try on at the office. Come in and try the gear on for size and we will order in what you want to purchase. 

Hands, feet and mouthguards are compulsory for students green belt and above (as it is required at gradings) and are recommended (but not compulsory) for 5.30pm and 6.30pm class students of any rank. If you need gear for the upcoming grading, get your order in quick.
