Dear Members, What a week! On Thursday we had two awesome gradings, with the mini kids and the colour belts doing themselves proud. All the colour belts will receive their results, stripes and belts this week in class (otherwise you'll have to wait til next year). Grading photos here Then on Saturday we had our club Picnic & Prizegiving. It was an overcast day but we had a great turn out and a few spits didn't dampen a lovely time together (and how about that free puppet show that just happened to be a few metres away??). It was also great to recognise the recipients of our Club Awards for 2014 which were: Contribution Award - Steve Milne Most Improved Student - Emma Hookings No. 1 Supporter - Sue Keay Courtesy Award - Adam Sage Integrity Award - Jeny & Joji Joseph Perseverance Award - Laura Watts Self Control Award - Daniel Geck & Jack Milne Indomitable Spirit Award - Kavita Jaduram Picnic & Prizegiving photos here Yes, There Are Classes This Week Classes DO continue this week but on a reduced schedule. All of Miss Geurts' classes are running as usual, but everyone else is either at 4pm or 6pm Mon-Thu this week (no 6pm class on Wednesday - come at 4pm instead). Make sure you read this newsletter carefully to keep track of what it is coming up and when to come to class. Gradings This Week Mini Kids - your grading is at 4pm. So make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to find parking and settle in. We estimate the grading to be over by or about 5.30pm. Colour Belts - your grading is at 6.30pm, but you need to arrive by or around 6pm. All grading applicants, please remember to wear a nice, clean dobok, remove all jewelry and if you are wearing a tshirt underneath your dobok, it must be white (these are the rules during normal trainings too)!
