Warrior Taekwon-Do News: 17 November

Dear Members,

Awesome Time at the Pee Wee Tournament 
After weeks of build up and practice in class, yesterday was the final Pee Wee Tournament for 2014! We had a massive 30 kids from Warrior entered, and there was an exciting and encouraging atmosphere as each event got underway. All the kids showed lots of spirit and were a credit to themselves as well as to the club. We are very proud of you all and you can be proud of yourselves too!

Special mentions to Mrs Debbie Hart, Mrs Sonya Robinson and Mr Steve Milne who did an excellent job officiating at the event, to Maria Gabites who won the Integrity award, and Leighton Hendricks and Anton Keay-Davies who won best overall awards in their divisions for the overall 2014 series.

Warrior's First TKD Kubz Grading 
Congratulations to Austin, Kiyaan, Violet, Renae and Nathan, who graded to white stripe and Kool Kubz on Monday at our very first TKD Kubz grading! We are looking forward to seeing more from this talented group of kids as our TKD Kubz program for kids aged 3+ continues to grow - you would be amazed at what these kids can do.

You Are Invited to the Warrior Taekwon-Do Christmas Picnic & Prizegiving!

Warrior Taekwon-Do members and their families are invited to join us for a Christmas Picnic & Prizegiving! This is our last big event for the year and we'd love to see you there.

WHEN: Saturday 13 December, 12pm
WHERE: Cornwall Park, Greenlane - Native Aboretum area (semi circle of native trees beneath the Memorial Steps - see the map on our website here)
BRING: A picnic lunch for you and your family and a picnic blanket!
*All children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

After the picnic lunch we will have a short club prizegiving. There will spot prizes drawn from the names of those who RSVP online by Friday 5 December and a few formal club prizes. Then people are welcome to leave and continue their day or to remain at the park.

If the weather turns in the picnic will be cancelled. Any cancellation will be posted on our website and on our Facebook page on the morning of the picnic by 10am.
