Dear Members,
All the best to all the students grading at the colour belt grading this Thursday! Make sure you arrive by 6pm leaving plenty of time to find parking as we will be starting at 6pm sharp. Because of the grading there are some class cancellations on Thursday night so please read this newsletter carefully to see what other classes you can attend this week instead. Free Adults Course Kicks Offs Last week was the first week of our free adult beginner's course. All of the participants (in the above photo) have worked really hard and have already learnt heaps in their first two sessions! We're looking forward to introducing them to more Taekwon-Do over the next couple of weeks, so please continue to make them feel welcome at classes. Class Cancellations & Public Holidays This week there is no 5.30pm or 6.30pm class on Thursday due to the grading - however, students who usually train at 5.30pm are welcome to come to a Monday, Tuesday orWednesday class, and students who usually train at 6.30pm are welcome to come to aMonday or Tuesday class instead. Labour Weekend is nearly upon us between 25-27 October. There will be no Saturday class on the 25th and no Monday classes on the 27th. Enjoy your public holiday instead! First Ever TKD Kubz Grading! We are getting ready for the first Warrior TKD Kubz grading! If your child is a TKD Kubz kid (i.e. they have a uniform with pawprints on the sleeves and an orange belt) they may be eligible to grade on Monday 16 November at 3.30pm. More information and application forms will be distributed by Miss Jacky Geurts from today, with the cut-off for forms and payment to be received by the office being Monday 3 November. Pee Wee Tournament Registrations So far we have 7 young Warriors registered to compete in the Pee Wee Tournament being held in Pukekohe on 16 November, including two kids from Warrior Three Kings branch! Don't forget to register so we can organise a club badge for you to wear to the tournament, which will be presented in class. Register here Have a great training week!
