Dear Members,
There are some great photos from our two sessions with special guest power breaking expert Mr Brendan Doogan you can view here! It was a great atmosphere as people broke boards for the first time and technique improved over both of the classes. If you're feeling inspired about breaking and want to continue to improve and also have some goals to work towards, check out these two things: BREAKING CLUB is an informal opportunity to break boards with other TKD practitioners from any ITKD club in Auckland on Saturdays at 3pm at 198 Marua Rd. Breaking Club is included in your membership if you are a Warrior Taekwon-Do member so it is free for you to go along! Breaking Club also has its own Facebook page. BREAKING COMPETITION - Breaking Club is hosting a fun power breaking competition, with divisions for adults and under 18s. The idea is to have some fun with breaking and give yourself a challenge to work toward in your breaking, in a friendly environment. The competition is on 5 September and being held at our dojang, so make sure you enter ASAP to help the organisers out. ENTER HERE Visiting International Expert - Soledad Serrano Next month New Zealand is extremely fortunate to have multiple world champion Soledad Serrano visiting from Argentina and taking a full day seminar for green belts and above over 10, as well as private lessons for anyone of any rank or age. Being a far flung country, it is rare for these opportunities to come up to receive training and insights from internationally-recognised experts from other countries, so if you are a green belt or above we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity and register for what will be an inspirational, full day of training that will help propel your Taekwon-Do to the next level. It is being held on Sunday 27 September (first Sunday of the school holidays), right at 198 Marua Rd, Ellerslie. The seminar is expected to sell out, so register now to avoid disappointment. Register here for the full day seminar and/or private lessons Best wishes, Rachel Bates Centre Manager
