Dear Members,
There's no training today as it is a public holiday - but if you normally come to training on a Monday we've got some alternatives for you. If you normally train with Miss Geurts on a Monday, you can come to a one-off Thursday 5pm class this week instead. And if you normally train with Mrs Robinson or Miss Giles, you can come to a class at the same time on a different day this week. If you're not sure please contact the office. There are also some changes on Thursday night this week due to the colour belt grading. There will still be a 5.30pm class but it will be 45 mins long. There will be no 6.30pm class (athough you are welcome to come and support your classmates), so make sure you come to Tuesday training instead. As there will be a lot of traffic on Thursday between 5pm-6.30pm, please be careful and respectful on the roads and driveways and allow extra time to find parking. Colour Belt Grading This Week For those of you grading in our colour belt grading this week, please arrive at around 6pm and we will be starting at 6.30pm. The grading is being held at our Ellerslie location (Warrior Training Zone, 198 Marua Rd, Ellerslie) and we will have members from all three of our branches and a few candidates from a neighbouring club too - how cool is that! Regionals In Two Weeks! There's just two weeks until the Auckland Regional Tournament on Sunday 10 May - this tournament is right on our doorstep at the AMI Netball Centre in St Johns, so make sure you enter! Remember if you don't have a Warrior Taekwon-Do badge for the tournament you can get one (or ask for one, if you're from our Three Kings or Diocesan branch and we'll pass on to your instructors to give to you) from the office. Enter here FRIDAY LAST DAY FOR ENTRIES - NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED If you're not entering the tournament we would still LOVE you to come along to support and cheer for our competitors! Introduction to Marshaling Course One way you can get involved in the tournament if you're not competing is being a marshal. You could be parent, spouse, friend or non-competing member - no special qualifications or knowledge of Taekwon-Do is required! A free "Introduction to Marshaling Course" is being run on Saturday at 2pm for those who are interested. It is being run by Mr John Matsuoka (Mr Kevin Matsuoka's dad) and will be 30-45mins. Anyone interested is welcome to come. More info here Best wishes, Rachel Bates Centre Manager
