Warrior Taekwon-Do News: 28 July

Dear Members,

Big Weekend at the National Tournament!
New Zealand's premiere Taekwon-Do tournament finished yesterday in Tauranga, with competitors travelling back to their regions with plenty of stories to share and even some medals. The Auckland & North region (which Warrior Taekwon-Do is part of) came third overall, with Counties Manukau taking 2nd and Central Districts 1st.

Our Warrior members who travelled to compete and officiate at the tournament had some great experiences, gave it all they had on the day and can be very proud of themselves!

What's Coming Up In New Zealand ITKD Taekwon-Do?
While most of the big tournaments on the calendar have now taken place, there are still lots of events coming up for all ages over the second half of the year.  There are two kids camps in the pipelines, a camp especially for the veterans (aged 35 and over), some kids and teens tournaments and undoubtedly more technical seminars and events are yet to be added into the official calendar.

26-30 Aug - ITF World Cup for blue belts and above - Jamaica
September - Auckland North Kids Camp - (details to be confirmed)
19-21 Sep - National Veterans Camp for ITKD members over 35 - Katikati
25 Oct - Under 18 Series: Tournament 2 - Counties Manukau
1-2 Nov - Instructors Conference - Rotorua
16-Nov - Pee Wee Tournament 3 for kids 12 and under - Pukekohe
21-23 Nov - National Kids Camp (details to be confirmed)
