Warrior Taekwon-Do News: 29 June

Dear Members,

Congratulations to all our Mini Kids who graded last week on their new promotions! We had a very smooth grading and there are lots of photos from the grading you can view here.

Don't forget our regular timetable is still running this week and classes are still on - so make sure you come along for some fun training.

Holiday Timetable
Next week our reduced holiday timetable starts, so make sure you've got your class time diaried if there is a change for you - please view the holiday timetable here.

Lost Property
There is a LOT of lost property in the Lost Property Box - located beside the downstairs toilet. Please claim your items by the end of this week as we will be getting rid of unclaimed items at the end of the week.

National Championships & Awards
This weekend is New Zealand's big Taekwon-Do event - the National Championships in Christchurch. Two of our Warrior members are representing Auckland North at the championships, so all the very best to Anton Keay-Davies and Steve Milne. We also have 5 staff traveling down to officiate and help at the championships.

We would like to congratulate Mr Steve Milne on his nomination and shortlisting for the "Gup Student of the Year" category for the annual International Taekwon-Do awards - winners of which will be announced at the Awards Dinner over Nationals weekend.

Upcoming Colour Belt Grading
For those on the colour belt syllabus, your next grading is coming up on Thursday 13 August. If you are interested in grading you need to be putting work in now and over the holidays.

We've got a special guest instructor coming in the first week of term 3 to help you polish up your patterns - so look out for more information about that and other exciting guest instructors and events we have coming up for next term.
