Colour Belt Grading Forms Back This Week
This is the last week for you to get your colour belt grading forms back to the office - they are due by Friday this week. Remember that forms can only come from instructors if they think you are ready to grade, so please don't ask for them at the office. Please ask your instructor or your child's instructor if you have questions about progress and grading readiness.

Warrior Sweatshirts - Last Orders Due by Friday This Week
If you want to order one of our popular Warrior Taekwon-Do sweatshirts this is your last chance this year and orders must be received using the online form by Friday 7 August. There are youth sizes ($45) and adult sizes ($55) available.

Warrior Family Members - Free TKD Course!
If you are a family member of a current Warrior Taekwon-Do student aged 13+ you can do our three-week beginners course for free! The course starts on Tuesday 18 August and places are limited so make sure you register now.

It is on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6.30pm, and will equip you with all the basics of Taekwon-Do. We are unlikely to run any more of these courses this year so this is your last opportunity to give it a go - Taekwon-Do is definitely not just for the kids!

When you register use your family member's name as a "voucher code" to register as a free participant. If you have friends interested in joining in too, there is a 50% offer available on our Facebook page they can apply to the course fee.

Breaking News
When we talk "breaking news" we're of course talking about power breaking! There is a lot to get you excited in the world of power breaking coming up really soon:

- This Saturday at 3pm Breaking Club starts under the guidance and supervision of Mr John Matsuoka, 5th Dan at 198 Marua Rd. Breaking Club is a time to come and practice and improve your breaks whether you are a complete novice or more experienced and get help and feedback from other breakers as well as Mr Matsuoka. Breaking Club is free for all Warrior members from any branch (it costs other clubs!)
- In two Thursday's time (20 August) we have special guest power breaking expert Mr Brendan Doogan, 2013 World Champion in the power breaking event coming to share his knowledge and expertise at the 5.30pm and 6.30pm classes.
- On Saturday 5 September there is a fun Breaking Competition for adults of any rank, and kids ranked at least yellow belt. There are a few Warrior entries already, and we encourage more of you to enter - more details and registration here.

TKD Kubz Grading Date
For our little ones with orange belts, the next TKD Kubz grading date has been set for Monday 7 September during class time - so make sure you put that date in your diary. We will be releasing more information in the coming weeks.

Finally - it's our last week of our Plank Challenge and we've seen an improvement in times. See if you can gain a little more time in our final week of the challenge - good luck!
