Warrior Taekwon-Do News: 8 September

Dear Members,

We've got a jam packed newsletter this time - so make sure you read right the way through for information about our visiting expert this week and what you need to know about the upcoming September Mini Kids Grading.

Mums, Dads and Guardians Special
Because parents are so awesome, and because we have just had Father's Day, if you are a mum, dad or guardian we've got a free gift for you of one month of unlimited Taekwon-Do training! 

Just drop us an email or pop into the office before this Friday and mention Father's Day and we'll hook you up. Training is at our Ellerslie centre and whether you've tried Taekwon-Do or something similar before or are a complete beginner we'll look after you and make sure you have a great time. 

This is open to anyone who is not already a registered member of Warrior Taekwon-Do who is a mum, dad, or guardian, including parents of existing members. 

September Mini Kids Grading Information
Our September Mini Kids Grading date is confirmed for Thursday 24 September at 4pm and instructors are beginning to distribute forms from this week. You've got until Friday 18 September to get them back to the office. That's Friday next week! So please don't delay once you have your form in finishing the registration process as we don't accept late forms. You can either bring them to the physical office or scan the forms to me by email.

Term 3 Expert Series Wraps Up
This week we have our last expert in our Term 3 Expert Series visiting our Thursday 6.30pmclass: Mr Carl van Roon, multiple sparring World Champion and inspirational sparring coach. If you go to ANY 6.30pm class during the week you are welcome to come to Thursdays class at no extra cost. You MUST bring a mouthguard, however, and sparring gear if you have it. If you normally attend a 5.30pm class you may attend with special permission from your instructor only.

We really hope you have enjoyed sessions with our visiting experts so far (Miss Melissa Timperley - patterns and Mr Brendan Doogan - power breaking). We arranged these sessions to keep you inspired, motivated and growing in your Taekwon-Do and hope that you will continue to work on what you have learned and apply them to your training.

Three Kings Branch Open Day
Next Tuesday we are having a free Open Day at our Three Kings branch, which meets in the Waikowhai Room at the Fickling Centre on Mt Albert Rd. If you know anyone in the area who is interested in giving Taekwon-Do a go, we will be having a really fun session at3.15pm. Feel free to direct them to the Open Day info on our website:
