Warrior TKD News: 3 Octobe

Dear Members,

Over the weekend three of our members competed in Levin at the final Under 18 Tournament for 2016! Congratulations to Anton, Mischke and Leighton, who each won 3 medals each - with Anton also winning Best Overall Red Belt of the series.

Warrior Kids Team to Pukekohe
For those who are aged 12 and under there is one last tournament opportunity for you coming up very, very soon on Sunday 16 October: the final tournament in the Pee Wee Tournament series in Pukekohe. This tournament will be great experience in a more relaxed tournament environment. We are going to head there with large group of kids and parents from Warrior, with coaches from our instructing team too. Even though it is quite soon the tournament entry page isn't up yet so look out for our message when the entry page is open so you can register your child and put that date in your diary for now.

Miss Church off to Budapest
This week Miss Courtney Church (assistant instructor) on Mondays and Thursdays at Ellerslie) is heading to Hungary for the Taekwon-Do World Cup! We did a bit of an interview with Miss Church last week, so find out what she's competing in, what it takes to be ready for a World Cup and how Taekwon-Do has impacted her life by watching this short video.

Reduced Timetable Continues
Our holiday timetable continues this week with our reduced schedule. And speaking of holidays, I am on holiday for most of this week so if you have any queries for me please be patient until my return.
