Dear Members,
Our Oceania Taekwon-Do Championships team has returned from the Cook Islands with lots of stories to share about a wonderful tournament, the incredible hospitality of our Cook Island hosts and the beauty of Rarotonga! The team did extremely well, with individual medals to all of our team members and a silver medal in the team patterns event. A special mention also to Roisin Giles who won the Best Overall black belt trophy, and to the parents, supporters, officials and helpers who helped make it all happen. We posted live updates during the tournament and have posted lots of photos from the event which you can view here. Pee Wees - It's Your Last Chance to Register! The Pee Wee Tournament is this Sunday! Already we've got 11 Warrior members registered for the event. The tournament is about a 30min drive from Ellerslie to Wesley College, which is located between Drury and Pukekohe, and we will meet up together at the beginning of the tournament so we can all help and support each other on the day. Not sure what it's all about? We've put together an article called 7 Ways to Maximise Your Pee Wee Tournament Experience with some tips on what to enter, what to expect and how to get the most out of the tournament. Register for the tournament here. Last Week of Holiday Timetable This is the last week on our holiday timetable, with our full timetable resuming on Monday 21 July. Starting from next week we are adding a new TKD Kubz class to our timetable for kids aged 3-5 which will be on Mondays at 3.30pm. Taekwon-Do Kubz is a one-of-a-kind, fun filled, safety-first children's program for 3-5 year olds, inspiring great behaviour, teaching social interaction and of course some cool taekwon-do techniques. If you have or know any young children who would be interested in TKD Kubz please contact us to find out more. Have a great training week! Best wishes, Rachel Bates Manager
