WTKD News: 2 June

Dear Members,

There is no training today (due to the public holiday) but we are looking forward to seeing you back at training from tomorrow for our pre-grading week. 

Visitors
We were fortunate to be visited by Remuera Club and also Master Rocky Rounthwaite visiting from the Hawkes Bay at our Tuesday 6.30pm session last week.  It was a lot of fun! You can check out photos from this session here. 

Pre-Grading Week 
It's Pre-Grading Week across all of our classes and branches from Tuesday 2 June to Monday 9 June, starting from today.  Your instructors will be assessing whether you are ready for our upcoming gradings this week especially, and will continue to give assessments and feedback over the weeks in the lead up to grading. 

If your instructor approves you for grading you will receive a grading form which must be completed and returned to the office with payment.      

Mini Kids Grading Pre-grading Week across all classes: Tue 3 June - Mon 9 June
Cut off for grading forms to be received and paid: Friday 20 June  
Grading: Tuesday 24 June at Warrior Training Zone, Ellerslie, arrive by 3.45pm, start at 4pm

Colour Belt Grading Pre-grading Week across all classes: Tue 3 June - Mon 9 June
Cut-off for grading forms to be received and paid: Monday 16 June 
Training & Grading: Wednesday 18 June, 7pm

Extra Practice for Grading 
Our Wednesday night open dojang sessions started last week.  Come along on Wednesday nights 6.30pm-7.30pm to practice your syllabus for grading. There will be a supervising instructor and the Wednesday open dojang is free for all Warrior members of all ages from all of our branches.  Young children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/caregiver unless with prior permission.

Special Training Seminars
Visiting Scottish master, Master Hutton's training seminars begin from next Sunday.

There's no need to register for this one - you can just turn up as long as you are a registered member with International Taekwon-Do. 

We encourage especially members who attend 5.30pm or 6.30pm classes to check out at least one of Master Hutton's seminars.
