WTKD News: 5 May

Dear Members,

We are back with our full timetable from this week! Those of you who went away - we hope you had a great holiday and are ready to get stuck in for term 2!

Upcoming Events
There's a lot coming up soon on the ITKD event calendar including:

Under 18s Tournament - Sunday 11 May, Tauranga
Umpires Course - (for complete beginners) 17-18 May, 198 Marua Rd
Auckland North Regional Tournament - Sunday 25 May, AMI Centre, St Johns
Oceania Championships - Saturday 5 July, Rarotonga
Peewee Tournament - Sunday 20 July, Pukekohe
National Tournament - 26-27 July, Tauranga

All of these events have cut off dates for entries (usually on the entry forms themselves) so make sure you enter in time. 

Now is the time to plan which events you would like to attend, block them off on your calendar and be working towards them.  Remember if you want to go to Nationals you must be attending regional trainings, which are on Sundays from 9.30-11am at 198 Marua Rd.

Special Training on Thursday Night
This Thursday Mr. Matthew Davey is taking the 6.30pm session.  Mr. Davey is the Head Coach of our region and will be taking a special training session.

You can expect a fun session of drills and activities in the lead up to the National Tournament which is in July.  Anyone who is looking at competing at the regional competition and/or at Nationals should definitely come along to this session, regardless of what class they usually attend.
