WTKD News: 9 June

Dear Members,

We had a great pre-grading week last week which continues today for our Monday students.  

Remember that mini kids students MUST show their instructor their homework book before they can be approved to grade.  This means you need to be smart and organised about bringing your homework book to class to be signed off and not leave it to the last minute - make it this week if you haven't already!

For all students, if you have more than one instructor there will be one instructor who is assigned to assess you for grading.  If you are unsure which instructor is assigned to you, you can ask your instructor.  

Once you've received a grading form, make sure you complete the member section and return to an administrator with payment.

Mini Kids Grading
Cut off for grading forms to be received and paid: Friday 20 June  
Grading: Tuesday 24 June at Warrior Training Zone, Ellerslie, arrive by 3.45pm, start at 4pm

Colour Belt Grading
Cut-off for grading forms to be received and paid: Monday 16 June 
Training & Grading: Wednesday 18 June, 7pm

Extra Practice for Grading
Our Wednesday night open dojang sessions started last week.  Come along on Wednesday nights 6.30pm-7.30pm to practice your syllabus for grading. There will be a supervising instructor and the Wednesday open dojang is free for all Warrior members of all ages from all of our branches.  Young children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/caregiver unless with prior permission.

Uniform Orders
All students entering our upcoming gradings must have a uniform.  If you would like to order a uniform in advance of the grading, we have a limited number at our Ellerslie office and we are also doing a mass order which will arrive before grading.  Uniforms are $85 each.  To order online please go to our order form here.  

AN Regional Kids Camp Theme Competition
Come up with the theme for this year's Regional Kids Camp and you could win your camp fee! Examples of past themes are: Champions, Top Tenets, Treasure Junters, The eXcellent Factor.  There are competitions entry forms and an entry box underneath the noticeboard at our Ellerslie location.  

The camp will be later in the year from Friday 19 September - Sunday 21 September at Mangawhai Heads.  The cost is $55 for the 1st child, $45 for the second child, $35 for the third child and $15 for a Saturday day visit.  These camps are loads of fun and with this competition you could go for free!
